From 5 to 9 May 2025, a 5-day Malaysian State Technical Airworthiness Manual (MSTAM) training was held at the Aviation Design Centre, Subang. The session was conducted by trainers from the Directorate General Technical Airworthiness (DGTA) and attended by 25 participants from various departments.![]()

The main objective of the training was to support the transition from the Technical Airworthiness Management Manual (TAMM) to MSTAM. It aimed to enhance understanding of the new requirements and how they align military airworthiness practices with commercial standards such as the European Military Airworthiness Requirements (EMAR) and the Defence Safety Authority Regulations (DSAR).![]()

The course also provided awareness on key regulatory elements including Part 145 (Maintenance Organisation), Part 21 (Design and Production), Part 147 (Training Organisation) and Part 66 (Licensing of Aircraft Maintenance Personnel).![]()

Led by Mr. Amisan Md Yatim, a certified instructor who completed his Rolls-Royce training in Indianapolis, the session combined both theoretical and hands-on learning.
